The first time I heard his voice it came out the little kitchen radio in my childhood home. His show on KXOL inspired me follow his footsteps and pursue a career in broadcasting. He was hilarious back then on the radio, and his stuff is still funny to this day. Timeless! Go Frogs!
Saw George Carlin at Trinity University in the early '70s. Some new group named Loggins and Messina was the warm up act.
My grown son found my collection of old albums and he pointed out that the Loggins & Messina was quickly a favorite of his and his friends. Apparently gathering together and listening to their parents 60-70's albums has become a thing with the 30 something crowd.
