As the Christmas season rolls around, I get a surprising number of kids asking, "Are you Santa?" My usual answer to this query is to carefully look both ways, then put my finger to my lips and say, "Shhhhh!" Then wink at the kid.

Ladies, OTOH, get a very stern look: "Have you been naughty?"
