Second, isn't it nice to be in a spot where asst coaches are getting poached by the big boys? No one EVER wanted a GP assistant cause they were terrible - now we are hiring guys who are desired. I LOVE IT.

We knew he would have opportunities and TCU wouldn't have him long. But I'm surprised he took another OC position. My expectation from here is that guys move up when they move out. And that TCU can hire laterally, too.

I thought he did some good things for the offense this year. One critique down the stretch was I felt we abandoned the QB run reads which were a strength early. Felt like we didn’t use Max’s legs down the stretch outside of the scrambles from busted plays or receivers covered.

This didn't just happen yesterday. Riley's agent has probably been in talks for some time, the only thing causing the delay was that we kept winning.

The only mistake he made was against Kansas State in the big 12 championship game in overtime on third and fourth down. QB sneak wins the game in my opinion. That was my only disputed play call he made all year. Good luck to him. Not hard to replace him.
