Gameday Thread: Too wet for couch burning edition

A eureka moment would be CGP acknowledgement that he is head coach and responsible for the train wreck on offense and defense. He has had the look of a coach who mailed it in all season long. This team has been ill equipped week in/week out and the buck stops with him. If TCU doesn’t make some changes and pull out of this tailspin the frogs are destined to be cellar dwellers for the foreseeable future.

this is 100% correct

I would argue NOT EVER. Were you around in the 70's?
I sat through the 1976 0-11 season. I don't think I'm being revisionist when I say that O squad was better than what we've been treated to in 2019.

WR Mike Renfro could catch the ball!

(The issue is not that this team was 5-7, it's that if they had just won 1/2 of the 0-6 "close losses" TCU would have been 8-4. (and maybe 1-2 major/big time upsets along the way BU/OU.) The O was bad - but the coaching was worse. At least we won't be embarrassed by a L at the Cheez-It Bowl.)

I'm still a fan, but I wish GP would just suck it up and say "we're gonna be better next year." (or, "this year we blew it, we WON'T blow it again.")
