words cannot describe what's happened to this program. Looking at everyone leave tonight was very discouraging. All of us know that something has to be done: does anyone in the administration have the balls to do something or do we go back to 10000 fans at the games. Someone needs to figure out if we need to drop down a division.

Well Baylor rebounded rather quickly- TWICE with new coaches. Either they are recruiting geniuses or they went out and hired GOOD coaches. We need new coaches or this program will bottom out quickly.
They did not really reload with Rhule. He has a season where he coached them up very well. Then had a a decent recruiting class. Aranda is a proven coach. How they got players under Briles is a whole different story, and not a good one.

Post game comments centered on the offense and a fatalistic belief in the defense. When pointed out that WVU played keep away and held the ball for long stretches, it was…Well that’s what they do.” Said we should have run it more.

GP has a contract through 2024 season. Without renewing him, which won't happen, his contract will be used against him in recruiting. GP needs an enormous off season in the transfer portal, his/our only hope at this point.

In essence, the above is why we need to move on. The cupboards will be bare by the time the next coach gets here. Without a strong pipeline of recruits, the program won't improve, at least quickly.
In all seriousness, he has a tough decision to make. How does he want this to end?

Nothing last forever and knowing when it’s time to move on can be really difficult for some - especially when they are propped up by enablers that make excuses for these losses rather than deal with the reality of the situation.

This has been such a disappointing season so far, and feels like it will get worse. Very sad what has become of the program since the Boykin era. How do you not advance the program after that? We were hot. Could have recruited better players. Could have attracted top up and coming coaches after that. What happened?? Where have we gone?

How have we not attracted an ACE QB since Boykin? Is it that we have no ability to develop a good QB now or is it other factors?

Just curious how we are where we are and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel.

Isn't he in charge of stopping their run. Doesn't he say we should have run it more about 10 time in the past 3 years? Who is able to make that change?

Screw him, I'm sick of the defy and deny coach.

That is my point. He COACHED them up in a very very short period of time.

Imagine if Rhule had stayed at Baylor. They would run the conference.

Because Patterson was made to feel way too comfortable. And he is stubborn about his defense. His post game comments on the radio wrap up sounded like a guy who does not expect much for the season. He sounds like a guy who thinks he will get away with hiding behind the excuses of injury and youth for another year. Our ADs screwed the program by padding the contract too much.

HS recruits talk to each other, this is not a desired program - unless you like to be yelled at. Imagine recruits watching TCU play on TV the last few years. Do this look like a fun place to play? Do players run around the field having fun? Do they get high fives from coaches when they run off the field after a good play? Does SMU look like a better option down the road, they seem to be having some fun!
