Gameday Thread, Sun Bowl Rematch: TCU vs USC

And so, my fellow frogs, we've come to the end of the 2025 season and an epic matchup three decades in the making. For the second time in nearly 30 years, TCU will face off against the Trojans in a Texas-sized bowl game. Will history repeat itself and see the Frogs victorious or will the Trojans plunge their bronze sword into the heart of this rollercoaster season? We'll find out tonight when both teams face off in the Alamo Bowl from beautiful San Antonio, Texas.

Programming note: Due to a canine emergency I was unable to head south to cover the game so Nathan will be providing play-by-play coverage here in the forum—and I promise to post as well so as not to invite superstitious banter following the last two times I was unable to provide PBP this season.

An update on our dog. She was in terrible pain late last night and we got her to the vet early this morning. As of an hour ago she is finally responding to the treatment and no longer howling in pain. Sorry again that I'm not in San Antonio, but I wasn't going to leave when she was in that much pain.

Man, the only time I've seen a dog howling and screaming in pain was a young Brittany I had that got bit by a huge rattlesnake right in the snout while bird hunting. Then she howled even worse when they injected the anti venom. Which worked fortunately. Something I never care to hear again.
