TCU O was definitely out of it after the first qtr. No QB, no O line, no run game, and definitely no wothwhile play calling from you-know-who. Hoover is no Heismann candidate after tonight, for sure. It's gonna be Sonny's job to get them back to playing like they did the first game against NC, or 8 - 4 may not be in the picture. They've got the talent, but can the coaching staff bring it all together?

I don't think their offense was better. But I DO know Leavitt made some terrific plays to keep drives extended that kept them in. The thing is he's been doing that since he's entered NCAA. If you don't have a game plan to stop it and you simply let them do that with our level of talent. That's on coaching y'all. Trust me it hurts to say that
They ran the ball. They passed the ball. They didn’t allow as many sacks. Their WR was better than ours clearly better offense. Would take their QB over Hoover any day.

A lot of blame to go around tonight. Briles went from genius to dunce during halftime. Defense gave up WAY too much between the 20’s, but proud of the way they held in the redzone. But too often it still looks like our secondary is completely lost. Hoover had probably his worst game as a starter. But this is also 2 weeks in a row his receivers have let him down in what should have been momentum swinging plays. Credit to ASU for clawing back, but something broke down with this team and staff near the end of the 2nd quarter.

Also good to see the Big 12 refs in mid season form…

Might as well blame the equipment manager too… cleats that actually worked would have helped… we were sliding all over the field…AZ not so much

I am not technical enough to know or certainly to be able to explain it, but i said last year and still feel that our running game issues are at least half due to scheme. The air raid just doesnt enable it. Seems like basically the Sullivan Smokr Draw most plays. Kidding and I likely dont know what I am talking about but I see other modern spread RPO teams that have running games that have more design to them or at least get the back more momentum.

@ K State.
The Rapists
@ WVU
Iowa St
@ BYU
@ Coog High
Cincinnati.

I think we’re gonna see a lot of games like this one the rest of the way. Outside of Iowa State, there’s not too many games in which we would be clear underdogs.

What form are the Big 12 officials in?

Also, I really don’t like to bag on players individually, so I’m just gonna put this on the staff. But tonight is exactly why you dump NIL money into offensive lineman. And what did we do this off-season? We took a project player from Incarnate Word, and a guy from Abilene Christian.
