there is no way i can agree with this line of thinking.

the man has been given every freaking thing he has asked for and then some. he is allowed to act however he wants, and is damn well paid for doing this.

yes, he has built this program but the key to a long term relationship is not one party worshiping the ground the other walks on, but both parties having a mutual respect.

both recognizing they are there to make each other better and right now gary is getting the much better of the deal.
What has exactly has he built us to? Almost getting it done? We get close, but find ways to not get it done. Losing games like this more than wining them?

Do we want to play for championships, or not?

8 wins is not even acceptable season after season for a coach paid that much. By game 7, we have way too many guys on crutches. Coaching takes care of the rest.

rcvrs were way better when Meach was here.
All the big stars we got don't make consistent catches. They run wrong routes. They don't block.
just unreal.
Patterson in comments last week saying how everybody comes up saying "put me in, I can make it" and Patterson looks for reasons not to put them in. Always some excuse. What's his excuse for letting 36 seconds just run off the clock at the end of the game.?

Those 36 seconds are Gary admitting he has no ability whatsoever to manage time so in an effort to avoid obvious mistakes he just throws in the towel. The dumbest part of the whole sequence is that he decides that’s what he’s gonna do and then runs the ball on first down risking a fumble. Just take a scheissing knee if you’re giving up.

gary has guided this program through three conferences and multiple top 10 finishes.

tough to see how the frogs are not with rice and uh in the all american conference if we don't have those results and that is a reflection of gary pushing this program with the help of some very good people.

the trouble is all those people are basically gone and the stakes are much, much higher. things that worked aren't and going backwards while the game and the conference are going in another direction isn't the recipe for fixing the issues in this program.

What can you say that hasn't already been said? The playing calling is bizarre. The OC can't block. The receivers can't catch. It's pretty much a total disaster.

We still had a 1st and goal at the 2 and could not score. That is the bottom line.

this, the frogs had the ball on the edge of the goal line and 4 plays to score.

why the night of champions [ deposit from a bull that looks like Art Briles ] if you don't trust your o-line to move people?

how can you not scheme a solid running game? a solid passing game?

how can your receivers still not able to run proper routes and make some basic catches?

yes, it would have been great if max's run counted, but the frogs pissed all over themselves in this game and the worst part is they are so used to it they don't even notice the yellow or the smell anymore

Two to be exact...
Silly dudes, neither of you understand the difference between yesterday vs. today, they did not have the haves and haves nots back in the day, Gary freaking won the rose bowl as a non BCS team and finished number two in the country. Had he been allowed to play Auburn we would have finished with a national championship. Neither of the past coaches had to contend with this, I am amazed at the amateurs on this board

That Rose Bowl was about a decade ago, friend.
He blew the 2014 game in Waco, part, by not getting in the refs ear, part by not keeping the foot on the gas earlier and over blitzing as usual.

Now we are in a league where you have to hold up. Without Meach, Doctson and TB, he aint holding up well.
