Hoover cannot be trusted. Good, very capable player, but he’s made so many idiotic mistakes it’s getting hard to count them.

I didn’t see the fumble but when he threw 25 yards downfield to a covered receiver on 3rd and 2 when he could’ve leisurely jogged for a first down at a very critical point in the game I couldn’t believe it. It’s like the kid has no idea of what the game situation is.

And for those that say that’s coaching, stuff like that is stuff people should know by just watching games, or playing freshman high school football.

Now I saw the fumble. Sorry man, but that’s a pretty basic play where you might be able to get some cheap yards when they don’t cover the QB. That is all on Hoover. If they have it covered he HAS to know to basically just get down, no big deal, take the no gain. But you cannot fumble. And he fumbles.

Some of you try so hard to blame KB for everything it’s ridiculous.

Talent rarely trumps stupidity over the long term.

Do you think that due to the lack of a running game that Hoover thinks that he has to win ball games and that it is causing him to try to play above his ability? Or is it that there is smart and then there is game smart, and he just doesn't have that yet?

Got to truck in time to catch Sonny on radio.
He said obviously they don’t want Hoover to be with the ball there at the end. And he’s not sure why that happened.

Did tape fingers forget where he was or something? Back miss assignment?
Sonny pointed out our boys know how to win games. And that’s what saved us at the end because he has never seen a team have 3 disasters like that at the end and still win.

Frustrating! We should be celebrating a win over a bitter gang of weirdos and the focus will be on the end. Sometimes, I really love Hoover. Great arm talent. But then, there are plays like that where he just kills us. . if he just hands the ball off (it's a clear read) or just gets down, we win handily...it just feels like when he makes a mistake, the whole team puckers...
