Gameday Thread, Home Stretch Edition: TCU vs Iowa State

TxFrog1999

The Man Behind The Curtain
The Frogs are bowl eligible hitting the home stretch of the season, a final four games which includes the four toughest opponents on their schedule. Can the Frogs find success in November and possibly get to 10 wins, or will today's matchup against Campbell's Cyclones create a cascading collapse to conclude the season? All answers will be revealed this evening as TCU hosts Iowa State at The Carter for a 2:30 kickoff to begin the final sprint towards the end of the 2025 campaign. Nathan will be joining me in the press box to bring you coverage (in case the Fox announcers become insufferable), both play-by-play here in the game thread and on X/Twitter for you doom scrollers.

Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Kickoff: 2:30PM (CST)
TV: FOX
Line: TCU -6.5
Weather: 80ºF for the entire game

Pretty sure Iowa St. is not one of the four toughest teams on the schedule. They couldn’t even beat ASU (with their backup QB) at home.
Right, ISU is nowhere close.
ISU is missing their top 2 safeties, and 4 of their top 5 cornerbacks.
With Manjack back from injury, our 3 main receivers should be very hard for ISU’s beat up secondary to cover.
There is no excuse for Hoover not to be at 300 yds passing, and that should open up some lanes for Barnes to get a 100.
