Considering the opponent, probably the worst half of TCU football I’ve seen in my lifetime. And I was a kid at every game in the 70s.

Many of us warned about this. How the high school offense he runs won’t get it done because his defenses never hit the mark.
It ain’t like he didn’t have a record. He is a below average coach.

When you hire a coach who is from the coaching tree of a mediocre coach, this is what you get.

Patterson coaches fundamentals. Don’t know what Dykes coaches.

Yep, never offer an extension after one good year with someone else's players. No one else was going to hire Dykes from us. Even with all the Dykes history at Tech, they had no interest in him.
