Boom! I nailed Sonny’s Clown Show Post-Game Bingo!
Sure, they had some drops and some false starts today...If the TEs are not schemed into the gameplan then they are going to hemorrhage. It would help if there was a game plan.
Pimpton, Ashley and Mason Peterson are the best athletes/Mismatches to the opposing defense on the roster and it is not close. These millionaire coaches are wasting talent like they did with DJ Rogers.
Shame.
I'm in favor. We need a revival...Breaking News: TCU has fired their head coach and hired Joel Osteen as the interim HC.
More like an exorcismI'm in favor. We need a revival...
He comes into a game with one mindset and has trouble making adjustments.WTH?! Open your eyes Coach. Pretty much every one else with common sense knew this game could be a tight game.
Fire Sonny the week before like Baylor 2021.There is only one way to redeem this season other than running the table.
It is very simple - beat Tech Thanksgiving night.
Do you really think Craig would do that much better than Schobel or Daulton??I can see not initially beginning the season in rebuild mode. But at this point... I don't think we should start him against BYU. That is a lot to ask. I suggest at Baylor. 1) low expectations 2) no restless home crowd ready to boo anything.
I am beginning to think that TCU just might not make the college playoffs this year and since that appears to be the case, go with the youngsters. See what builds for next year. And, someone above said it, but I don't like the idea of a one and done QB, it does nothing beyond this year, except convince the younger players to hit the portal at the end of the year.Do you really think Craig would do that much better than Schobel or Daulton??
Daulton has the best wheels on HS film to be recruited to TCU. Better than Duggan and Hejney HS tape.
Let the youngsters get in there, get their noses bloodied and see the field and speed. Build for next several seasons.
One and done?? I think Craig probably has a good chance to be a good CFB coach. He should be retired and the TCU ADmin/TCU coaches will have to lesson up to the old business axiom of "cutting your losses"I am beginning to think that TCU just might not make the college playoffs this year and since that appears to be the case, go with the youngsters. Sure, but to build his confidence I would rather start him against Baylor than BYU. I'm not saying he shouldn't play against BYU. I just don't feel good about throwing him to the wolves.Do you really think Craig would do that much better than Schobel or Daulton??

by one and done, I mean having a transfer qb come in for 1 year and then gone. Of all the positions in football to have a 1 and done qb is hard, coming from the Ivy League is harder. I agree with your assessment that the repercussions of this will last beyond this year. If something isn't done, it will be a rush to the portal. One and done?? The problem with Higher Ed and coaches is that never had to make cutting losses decisions.
The Transfer Portal exodus has already begun. The worthy young players not being given any playing time (even the ones who have played) already decided based on what they've seen/heard from the coach. I'm certain TCU has had 2-3 players a week this season saying, "I'm gone" Probably 4-5 players after yesterday.
I agree that having a player joining the team for 1 year is not good. Particularly the QB. If you look at the teams last couple of seasons that have done well with 1 and dones, the positions are normally skill guys or DL.by one and done, I mean having a transfer qb come in for 1 year and then gone.
