Dude, I have been in the lower bowl for games. We have talent. They are horribly coached. No real focus for details. No fundamentals. No coaching to a standard. The things the it takes to win. This coach has not gotten them to play 4 full quarters since the big 12 title game in 2022.

I’m sorry, but we don’t. Hodges, Cook, our DBs, EACH SIDE OF OUR LINES….where is all this “talent?” Tech fans consistently overrate their players ability and many TCU fans are doing that with this team this year.

This team will probably win six games and it will be an overachievement.

There is no running game (in my considerable years, I don’t remember anything close to this bad.)

TCU allegedly recruits very well. It should not be this mediocre.

My dad said that, as did others at lounge area where we are watching games. One person pointed out how Patterson would have been fired up. Two guys here played in the Big 10 and were shocked at how badly TCU’s defense has fallen. Said it was an obvious coaching issue.

Yeah, by all accounts he is an amazing young man and that’s awesome so I feel bad bagging on his football talent but dang, he just isn’t P-5 LB material whatsoever.
Edit: Not that I could EVER play the position either so there’s that too.

Hoover is mediocre.
The rest of the team has major flaws, and the coaching staff is way above their heads.
