For those who were following the game yesterday and saw or heard about the extremely controversial “passed ball,” the radio broadcast said that after going back and reviewing the play last night, it was determined that the batter swung and was then hit by the pitch which means it should have been called a “strike 3 hit by pitch” which would have resulted in a strikeout and dead ball and no run scored.
