Well here is a fact that I am sure you and your internet buddy will try to find stats to dispute - but is truth

That was the least competitive TCU has looked in a regular season game in 20 years

Even in the 5-7 years - we had bad beats but nothing that felt as far out of reach in the 1Q as that game did last night

We were never in that game - it was basically the NC game “lite”

And it’s just embarrassing at this point
Yep, can't win without players or without a coaching staff. We will lose to UNC next year.

Yes, coaching and leadership is a problem, but hot take, I think Chandler Morris was a better QB and we’d be fighting for a conference championship berth with him at the helm.

Don’t get me wrong, this is a serious retcon on my side, as I was a yuge Hoover fan, but he’s no where he needs to be. He can’t hold a lead, and he can’t fight back when we’re down, and he’s absolute garbage at the 2 min drill ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
well Hoover did this exact same thing in High School - his highlight tape was amazing but his bloopers reel was 3x longer.....but Morris would have never have still been upright at this point in the season with our Oline

Wow, I honestly think this is more BYU being great than TCU being bad. Don't get me wrong TCU has a lot of work to do. But anyone paying close attention to recruiting and momentum these past few years knows BYU is a big time threat. The giant fan base and stadium environment doesn't help either . Overall though, good for the conference. We just got to figure out better schemes and development, but this is embarrassing.
did you watch their game with Tech? they are not that good and they had almost the same things in place money and facilities wise when they were independents - and the sucked.

BYU's success in the B12 shows that the B12 is not that competitive of a conference really - not how good BYU is - they will get rolled if they make the CFP unless they draw the G5 team.

I may be totally off base, but I sometimes question Kaz’s effectiveness. I see our OL get manhandled and wonder how much is lack of talent vs. lack of strength/conditioning.
Kaz is a joke - he is all hat and not cattle. he is case #1 for why Dykes needs to be gone - only a total DA hires a guy that basically a year before was going into our stands after some idiot fan.

But the fact that is not good at his job has been evident for really his entire tenure even including the NC run

Hoover wasn’t a problem at all until he hit it a hand on the helmet. He shouldn’t be playing right now as Schobel could have done just as good vs. ISU or BYU.

I did something last night I haven’t done since 2021. I watched the first couple of series and said I’m out. Last face it, Briles is not going to be here next year. He’ll be the sacrifice and probably well earned at this point. Dykes should just let him go now and call plays or at least let somebody else on the staff get a crack at a game plan.

I just think Hoover tries to do too much with skills he doesn’t have. TCU is in danger anytime Hoover has to throw under pressure, or when he’s rolling out trying to make something happen.
He just does not throw well on the move. He doesn’t want to run, so he forces last second throws into coverage and many sail high.
Whoever TCU’s coaches are next year, they need to end this Hoover experiment, and move far away from pocket passers. TCU doesn’t have $7+ million to buy the kind of line it takes to support a pocket passer.
we have the same $20 mil that every school has - the question is if we have the AD, coaches and plan to utilize it effectively and use it for the right players (or even the right sports)....

he has been a turnover machine when under pressure his entire time here
I think Hoover’s accuracy is a problem. Many times he throws over the heads or behind our receivers. Many times he forces throws into double/triple coverages leading to interceptions.
