Sometimes these midweek games are just brutal no matter who's winning. This is about to be a 4 hour ballgame. I find myself not minding an inning ending double play.

Those are ugly numbers. Incredible offense will make up for those, but I would much rather see cleaner performances than that for those nailbiter pitching duels. I know those weren't all ours, but still.

Mid week starter is going to be interesting this year

That is where Big Russ being out this year is going to be noticed the most and it is going to ripple down to our long relief ability as the season moves along
