Which TCU football players signed NFL undrafted free agent contracts?​

TCU football had three players selected in the NFL draft this past weekend, but those aren’t the only Horned Frogs who will have a chance at making an NFL roster.

As of Tuesday, several Horned Frogs signed undrafted free agent deals or received rookie mini-camp invitations to go along with the three draft picks: safety Bud Clark (Seattle Seahawks), linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr (Buffalo Bills) and linebacker Namdi Obiazor (New England Patriots).

I think the only guys who have a real chance to stick on the 3 deep roster are Joseph Manjack @ Broncos & DJ Rogers with Dallas.

The back up WRs with Broncos are merely serviceable. LIl Jordan Humphrey with his huge drop rate and Pat Bryant with a roughly 60% catch percent based on targets. These numbers are not NFL caliber.

DJ Rogers already has better athleticism than any of the Cowboy TEs and should supplant TE Luke Schoonmaker by August.

Any word on McAlister?

Eric McAlister was arrested on 3/15/24 for threatening a man with a gun at Whataburger on 109 NE 28th St. in Fort Worth. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and later plead guilty where he was sentenced to probation.
He was arrested again on 8/19/24 for violating bond conditions after testing positive for THC on July 31.
There aren‘t many NFL teams ready to give that kind of baggage a 3rd chance.
