Which new Horned Frogs could provide an instant impact in 2025?

Sonny Dykes was in good spirits Wednesday as he and the TCU coaching staff put the finishing touches on the No. 1 recruiting class in the Big 12.

Dykes continues to have the Horned Frogs recruiting at a different level than most of the program’s counterparts across the league and the 2025 class featured 29 signees, including six four-star recruits according to 247Sports.

Twenty of the signees will be early enrollees in January, which should allow a number of these incoming freshmen to be instant impact contributors.

I liked Denman ever since I saw his highlights last summer. Looks like he has great balance. Sonny mentioned finishing...one of the things that allows him to finish is his balance. Can't just hit him and expect him to go down. If he breaks a tackle he will continue to run and make yards until someone (or group of "someones") really tackles him.

Really am looking forward so see him run here.

All we need now is an OL:rolleyes:.

I agree with your frustration with the OL and include the DL in that analysis this year.
However from what I’ve read with our returnees, juco transfers, redshirts from last season and the new class of 2025 the outlook for much better play on both sides of the ball is very optimistic. Sonny in the past has at the very least produced strong lines in his coaching career. Most years anyway. I’ll give him time and along with the skill players I’m optimistic for the Frogs!

All paper tigers until they get on our gridiron but it’s encouraging. I still think our missing ingredient is a qb who can run and throw the ball and we know Hejny can run. I’m excited about Schobel who showed much improvement during the season. Just my $.02

One of the things being overlooked regarding QB Adam Schobel is that he was most likely being tested by his dad his uncle and others to be robust from a young age. There is no doubt that they busted his arse in 5th,7th,9th grade and beyond. Along with Chad Woodfork I think some sleepers could emerge if given a chance. Mason Peterson so called TE who is really a WR and Mount Olive NC TN LB Sam Haley. Haley reportedly has the biggest mean streak of any LB commit in the last several years.

We need some throwback to 2014 players like Haley, Peterson and Keylan Abrams to infuse some juice and wicked intentions into the '25 '26 squads.
