USC crashes the party at Dickies Arena, escaping with a victory over TCU

The 14,000-seat Dickies Arena was built for the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, but the ornate detail makes it a unique place in the Cultural District for concerts, graduations and sports.

TCU hoped to come away with a victory in the inaugural basketball game at Dickies Arena, and it almost rallied from an 18-point deficit for a stunning victory. But the Horned Frogs didn’t and instead left with a frustrating 80-78 loss.

“We just got down too much too early,” senior guard Desmond Bane said. “Happy that we fought the way we did, but unfortunately we came up short.”

Yes....he's watching 3 pt shots go up from Smith who is shooting 11% on the year. Watching 3pt shots (0-4) when he's shooting 25% on the year.

Same crap as last year with Robinson and Miller. The math doesn't add up...you just can't let bad shooters take three point shots or you're going to lose.

Jaime HAS to shut this stuff down. We shoot 5-19 from three point range and wonder why we lost by two...because crappy shooters are wasting possessions! Drive to the basket and shoot a free throw...you might even hit a couple of those...which is more than zero and will win a game.
