Maybe so, but just imagine how TCU would've felt if we were 12-1 and had just won the B12 CCG by 59 points over, say, Oklahoma State, and we were left out in favor of an 11-1 Ohio State team who had beaten one top 15 team all year and played a very unimposing OOC schedule. It would have been outrage on a scale much higher than it was.
I don't really care how its covered, I care that they get it right. And so far through five years, I don't think how it's been covered has had an effect on which teams have ultimately been picked, which is a good thing.
