In college football, there's only one Oklahoma.

You shouldn't need the stirring pregame video at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium to tell you that.

Seven national championships. Forty-three conference championships. Five Heisman Trophy winners.

The Sooners' success is nowhere near being only dust and mirrors.

And yet when the Oklahoma chuck wagon rides into town this weekend, you might have a hard time recognizing this Bob Stoops team. ...

"But here's a perspective- oklahoma has won four Heismans since 2000."

Did I read that wrong? I can think if two. Sam Bradford and Jason White. Who am I forgetting?

The title of FWST article is misleading. Very little of the article centered around the upcoming TCU-OU match-up. A more fitting title would have been "Stoops Slobfest" . The whole article is about how great stoops is. Come on man, Stoops is good but our guy's pretty good too.

That wiki list is wrong. TAINTed is correct. Leinart won in '04. And Weinke won in '00, not Heupel. White in '03 and Bradford '08 are the only two OU winners since '00 (make that '03). Gil's slipping up.

Also, Billy Sims only win the Heisman in '78 as a junior. Charlie White won in '79.

Hey give Gil a break, Stoops will be the second best coach on the field tomorrow.
