The TCU women's basketball team will try to pick up its first Big 12 win today at Iowa State.
The teams have played only twice, both Cyclones victories: 64-59 at the Paradise Jam in the Virgin Islands in 2010 and 88-60 in Ames in 1986.
Iowa State is coming off a 67-39 loss to No. 1 Baylor on Wednesday, not unlike the thrashing Baylor gave to TCU in its conference debut.
Iowa State junior forward Hallie Christofferson leads the Cyclones, averaging 13.8 points and seven rebounds per game. Iowa State sophomore point guard Nikki Moody, from Euless Trinity, has started 11 games and averages 8.6 points per game with 40 percent shooting efficiency.
After Saturday's game, TCU travels to West Virginia to play the Mountaineers on Wednesday.
