FWST: TCU women have trouble on offense in loss at Kansas State

MANHATTAN, Kan. – TCU couldn’t overcome a poor shooting night as the Frogs fell 58-49 to Kansas State on Saturday night.
The Wildcats (12-5, 2-4) held TCU to just 28.3 percent shooting from the field, the lowest output of the season for Horned Frogs.
Kansas State limited the TCU offense early as the Frogs fell behind 8-2, making just 1 of 9 shots to open the game. They also committed four turnovers before Carol Willie’s basket with 3:02 remaining in the first quarter.
After cutting the lead to three at 17-14 on a basket by Veja Hamilton with 6:59 left in second quarter, the Frogs again went cold. TCU missed its final 10 shots of the half as Kansas State scored the final 10 points of the half. ...
