FWST: TCU women face Texas A&M with both in new conferences

TCU women's basketball travels to College Station today to take on another program in its first year in a new conference, Texas A&M.
The game at 3 p.m. (moved up from its original 7 p.m. start) has the new SEC squad owning the all-time series 31-4. But the Horned Frogs were able to notch one when it counted, moving past the Aggies in the first round of the 2006 NCAA Tournament.
A&M (3-3) began this season losing to Louisville, Penn State and UConn - each currently ranked in the top 10 - but then bounced back to beat Liberty, Southern and Marquette.
Two A&M players score in double figures: 6-foot-4 junior center Kelsey Bone (13.7) and freshman guard Courtney Walker (11.0).
TCU (4-2) comes into the game off its best first half of basketball, in a 73-64 win over UT San Antonio, but lost focus in the second half, TCU coach Jeff Mittie said.
