True
We need to get steals to win. We started slow in that category and turned it up a notch at the end of regulation. Just didn't happen in overtime.
Yeah... ND had a good plan for our defense. May have given others a blueprint tonight, although I'm not sure every team shoots threes that well consistently. I'm not even ND shoots threes that well consistently all year.

Tonight's game was a Denny Green special. We let em off the hook.

You are allowed to run different defenses…there doesn’t have to be a blueprint for the season or even a game. Everyone can play man defense without trying to force them into a double team so you can stay on your man. Mix it up sometimes…like when the other team can’t miss from three!

Tough losing the close ones, but fans should continue to be pumped with what we are seeing from this new bunch of Frogs. They deserve support so go to the games; do your part. They are fun to watch and I expect them to be a tournament team.

Make one of those two missed free throws near the end of regulation and it is a three point lead and I bet the Frogs win. But, ND missed free throws throughout the game too, only 9-20 (45%). Frogs 15-23 (65%).

Certa was 6 of 12 from three; a 6-5 guard off the bench for 33 minutes of play. Frogs had Pierre hit 4 of 7 from three. As a team; ND 12-26 (46%), Frogs 12-29 (41%).
