TCU is off to a 3-3 start. It begs the question – is this 2013 all over again?

TCU played a close, competitive game against an SEC powerhouse to open the 2013 season. LSU ended up winning 37-27, but TCU held its own for the most part.

That same season saw a sophomore quarterback, Trevone Boykin, finding his way for the Frogs as he split QB snaps with Casey Pachall. TCU opened the season 3-3, losing two of its first three Big 12 games. The Frogs gave the ball away an average of 2.5 times a game that season.

Sound familiar?

The answer to the question is YES! Especially if GP waits until the end of the season to make major changes, like he did in 2013. At least he can use the time making the changes instead of preparing for a bowl game.

Does GP follow Riley's example?

I’d be curious to see Volare’s updated season prediction grid that he put together in the preseason. I had 9-3 and oh boy was that optimistic.

Thursday's calamity vividly rekindled sordid visions and frustrations previously related to

the 2013 season. Meanwhile, beset with a continuous stagnation in performance and a

coaching staff's reluctance to make any changes....fans are compelled to endure what dire

consequences await the remainder of the schedule. Damn the torpedoes!
