FWST: TCU football will play Louisiana in the New Mexico Bowl. Fans aren’t happy.

look, nobody knows what went down and nobody from the school or the bowls/conference are gonna tell the truth about something if it went off anyways.

we are all speculating on a sports message board. which is what sports message boards for for.

so for everybody telling everybody to get over themselves ...

who cried when Bram made the corner and then our db knocked the ball down in San Antonio? Nobody cried when Bram made the corner? ...

you think we picked the NM bowl of any of the "other" bowls directly affiliated with B12? - what a joke.

What we know is none of them invited us - make up whatever reason for that makes you feel better.

Yes, we passed on the bowl in Dallas and the one at ACS. The team wanted to travel and ABQ is better than going to Dallas and playing on SMU's field a second time this year. Makes sense to me.

24. Rate Bowl: Kansas State vs Rutgers
19. New Mexico Bowl: Louisiana vs TCU*

Louisiana quarterback Ben Wooldridge (2,392 yards, 17 touchdowns, five interceptions in 10 games) was named the Sun Belt’s offensive player of the year."

Why don't they just split the available seating at the Liberty Bowl at the 50 yard line? Each school gets all the seats on one side of the 50. If not, that bowl indeed stinks this year from a paying fan standpoint.

Saw Louisiana play some team this season (can’t remember) but that qb of theirs is a gamer. This will be sneaky tough if the frogs don’t show up with energy and want.
