TCU football picked for Thanksgiving showdown against in-state rival​

TCU football is playing on Turkey Day this season.

The Horned Frogs will take on Texas Tech in Lubbock on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, the Big 12 announced Friday.

It’s the first time TCU has played on Thanksgiving since 2012, when the Horned Frogs upset Texas 20-13 in Austin. The Horned Frogs also played on Thanksgiving in 1928.
