TCU football coach Patterson updated the injury status on several players

BY DREW DAVISON

Nobody within the TCU football program is questioning the toughness of quarterback Max Duggan. He had a career day at Oklahoma last weekend, despite playing through a broken bone in his foot.

As right tackle Andrew Coker said, “He’s our heartbeat for sure. He’s the one who makes this team go. You see some guys out there who are battling through injuries and being sore and stuff like that, but that guy is playing on a broken foot. And he’s a quarterback, the most important position on the field.”

Well, the good news for the Frogs is that Duggan is “probable” to play against West Virginia on Saturday. Coach Gary Patterson provided a number of injury updates, starting with Duggan and running back Zach Evans being probable for Saturday.

Good to know Miller isn't mentioned as being among the injuries.

It was bad enough turning on the tv and learning that Evans was out vs. OU, but when it appeared Miller might miss the rest of the OU due to an injury inflicted thru his gargantuan efforts to get that ball over the goal line on the long pass play - it seemed we were cursed, haha.

Miller came back into the game, but I wondered if he was 100%.

There is no doubt we have 2 absolutely fantastic RBs in Evans and Miller.
