TCU football could be without two key starters for a second straight game when the Horned Frogs (0-1) host Grambling State (2-0) at 7 p.m. Saturday at Amon G. Carter Stadium.

Senior wide receiver Jordan Dwyer remains questionable, while senior edge rusher Zach Chapman was ruled out by head coach Sonny Dykes on Tuesday.

“I don’t think you’ll see Zach this week,” Dykes said when asked about Chapman’s spot on the depth chart.

With the reported brain bleed, we will be lucky to see him again playing. Vascular structures are very slow to heal in the brain if they heal at all beyond scarring off the opening.

When is the last time you heard of a player hospitalizing a teammate INSIDE of the locker room ?

Disciplined teams are coached to leave tussling on the field and suggest dismissal to a player who would so savagely attack a cohort.

Yeah, I am 100% convinced that Zach Chapman is out for the year. Dozie is probably done for the year as well. Dwyer, who the hell knows. I would maybe guess we’ll see him after the second bye week. He’s had two weeks to heal after “almost playing” in Ireland and still not playing.
