Tech’s USA (or whatever they call it these days) is a great place to watch a game. Wish we had done something like that.Controversial opinion: TCU should have torn down DMC and rebuilt a new venue.
What would the cost difference have been?Controversial opinion: TCU should have torn down DMC and rebuilt a new venue.

More than 2 cents...What would the cost difference have been?
Was that part of the thought process? Saving money?More than 2 cents...
I think it's fairly common for good football schools (Bama, Georgia, Clemson, LSU) to not emphasize basketball and non-football schools like Tech and SMU to overinflate their basketball prowess. We got lucky with an alum being a good coach and deciding the facilities were now acceptable enough to return, and he was wearing out his welcome at Pitt.
This is a bit of a hot button subject for me because I have always thought basketball should be a near equal to football for the good of the school, marketing, students and alumni.
Go ahead and slap me around for overstepping and tell me where I am wrong.
Didn’t get a tournament bid this year.Went to a game at U of Arkansas a few years ago - wow. Seats 16,000 I think with luxury suites and the works - rivals NBA stadiums.
She’s the Tech fan. Not my fault you think I am because you can’t handle hard facts.Didn't know both you and your wife were Tech fans but makes sense.
Sure, let’s settle for mediocre just because we sucked for so long.Compared to what we were, it’s amazing. We sucked. Now we don’t. But go ahead and keep complaining troll.
Making the tourney 3 years in a row is not mediocre.Sure, let’s settle for mediocre just because we sucked for so long.
