FWST: Put that TCU purple pride on display at these Arizona hot spots

Thousands of Horned Frogs are expected to paint Tempe, Ariz., purple when TCU faces Michigan State in the 24th annual Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl. The Dec. 29 game at Sun Devil Stadium is the main attraction, but there's a lot on offer in Tempe and Scottsdale.
House of Tricks: Look to House of Tricks for a top-notch dinner with excellent ambiance. The terrace is the perfect setting in which to share a bottle of wine from the restaurant's expertly curated, eclectic list. The potted petunias, lobelia and geraniums add pops of color to the greenery from the grape arbors and flourishing ferns. The "new American" menu is full of French and Southwestern influences, but co-owner Robin Trick recommends the Asian-inspired Thai spiced duck breast with its ginger-tangerine barbecue glaze.
