FWST: Outgoing TCU athletic director addresses football team’s bowl destination, controversy

You're not paying attention. I said he inherited a good group of seniors and/or upperclassmen (unless you didn't understand what I was saying) and very little behind them. All those guys you listed played for SD for one year save for Savion and Marcel, who I think got hurt again yesterday. That one year SD coached them we went 13-2. The year prior when GP and Jerry Kill coached them, we went 5-7.

Let's go through the lineman (both offense and defense) that were carryovers past that initial year. I guess it's all Sonny's fault for not completing restocking the lines in a year or two, but you're proving my point....again.
51% of the starting lineman in playoffs teams this year have been at their current school the same amount of time or less than Dykes has been here

What a loser excuse this continues to be…But then the shoe fits

51%? I think that's a pretty high percentage. What's your point?

There were 15 O-lineman and 9 D-lineman listed on the 2022 depth chart. I think 2 O-lineman remained on the team this year, and one of them (Marcus Williams) just transferred because he could never get on the field. 1 D-lineman remains from that team, Tymon Mitchell.

So of the 26 lineman listed on the 2022 depth chart, only 3 were on the 2024 roster. Some because they weren't any good and transferred, and some because they were seniors. So yeah, even you want to claim Dykes ruined them all like I'm sure you will, he inherited a good senior class and almost nothing behind it. Had to basically completely rebuild both lines. That's just a fact. The real shame is the prior coach went 5-7 (or 3-5, if you want to credit Jerry Kill with the last two wins) with that group of players. That is more or less coaching malfeasance.

It’s actually rated worse than our schedule in 2 of the years we won the MWC…it’s called math
We have not been in the MWC in over a decade.
When you start looking at the real meat of the schedules, the difference is clear. Of the top 60 toughest team schedules/SoS this year, the folks that rank those don't show a team outside of the Power conferences.

It's called math.
