FWST: No. 6 Georgia capitalizes on mistakes to beat TCU women

Freshman mistakes Wednesday helped give No. 6 Georgia a 72-59 win over TCU at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.
The Horned Frogs turned the ball over 14 times in the first half, which included a 10-0 Georgia run.
"You'd like to have that middle stretch of the first half back where we had so many of the turnovers, but our guards just were not handling their pressure," TCU coach Jeff Mittie.
For a team, however, with so little experience, Mittie said the players took strides forward as they approach their first bout with a Big 12 conference schedule. ...
