Three-star 2019 athlete Josh Foster (Newton, Texas) had his second Crystal Ball pick for TCU entered by a 247Sports recruiting expert on Monday.

Mike Roach, a recruiting reporter for Horns247, was the latest to give the Horned Frogs the nod for Foster, the No. 882 player overall and No. 81 athlete. Midlands Region Recruiting Analyst Gabe Brooks put a Crystal Ball in for TCU back on Feb. 25.

Foster (6-foot, 165 pounds) projects as either a wide receiver or cornerback at the next level. He was named the District 10-3A MVP as a junior and the district's defensive newcomer of the year as a sophomore.

Imagine having to watch for additional crystal balls on 247 so you can generate a news story. Also, those 'national' rankings encapsulate about 2,000 kids, right? So basically the entire recruiting classes of the top 80 programs (25 kids per class).

Putting out info is okay. Just no CBS, NBC, or ABC fake news.

what information was provided?

it was a freaking opinion of what "might" happen from someone whose very job is to throw [ Finebaum ] at the wall to generate conversation and even if the kid does commit isn't binding until he puts pen to paper

if this isn't a form of fake news what is?

This story is the epitome of lazy journalism. They just regurgitated someone else's research and made a story out of it.

I guess actually calling the kid themselves was too much work.
