FWST: Freshman's nine three-pointers lead TCU past SMU, 76-70

TCU freshman guard Zahna Medley hit a record nine 3-point shots in Wednesday's 76-70 win over SMU.
In the end, every one of Medley's long-distance hits was needed.
The sharp-shooting freshman sunk the game-tying three with 2:42 remaining, and then hit her ninth two minutes later, which would be the game-winning score.
Medley's nine treys tied both Amy (Sutton) Porter's school record for most 3-pointers in a game and the mark for most three-pointers made at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. It also broke the record for most made by a freshman, previously at eight by Jill Sutton. ...
