FWST: Former Texas A&M pledge commits to TCU

TCU picked up its 18th football commitment when Auburn (Ala.) athlete Cameron Echols-Luper committed on Sunday.

Echols-Luper (6-foot, 190 pounds) said he connected so well with TCU wide receiver Cam White and the coaching staff that he committed before taking his other scheduled visit to Texas Tech.

"Like honestly we are almost alike," Echols-Luper said about White via text. "We connected great, but it was the same with the coaches."

Echols-Luper said TCU plans to use him at wide receiver.

Last week, Echols-Luper, a Rivals three-star recruit, withdrew his commitment from Texas A&M, citing too many wide receivers in the Aggies' class.

Rivals jumped us 10 spots today. Not sure if it's just on this one guy or not.

Where's that goober that was on here earlier complaining about our recruiting?

I think our ranking is low just because we had fewer guys than most. Our average ranking is higher than a bunch of teams ahead of us, but because they had more bodies their classes were ranked higher. Baylor is an example of this. Idk why the services don't look at everage ranking rather than total starsies points or whatever.
