Former TCU safety facing assault charge bonds out of jail; agent speaks out
Jim BarnesFormer TCU safety Jacob Fields faces a charge of assault after a locker room altercation that led to his dismissal from the team earlier this month, according to Tarrant County Jail logs Sunday.
Fields, 21, faces a charge of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, and he was booked into the Tarrant County Jail on Sunday morning, according to jail logs. He was released Sunday afternoon after posting $50,000 bond.
