Former TCU basketball star receives Big 12’s ‘highest individual honor’

FRISCO – Even as she continues her rookie WNBA campaign, the awards continue to roll in for former TCU women’s basketball star Olivia Miles.
Miles was honored with the Bob Bowlsby Award on Tuesday at Big 12 football media days. The Bowlsby Award, named after the former league commissioner Bob Bowlsby, is considered the conference’s “highest individual honor.” The award is given to the student-athletes who exemplify leadership and achievement on and off the field.
