See Cam Newton. The guy was built like a DE. He literally transformed college football. Won an NFL MVP. Currently dresses like Huggy Bear. I was pretty sure Jaden Daniels would be seriously hurt within 6 games of his Redskins career. He stretched it to 20 or so games.Tell him to call Jaden Daniels.
I honestly thought last August that Sam Leavitt was the new prototype for a running/scrambling QB. A little more running and sliding than Andy Dalton.
If you notice in the NFL this year, players are using several variations of the "hip-drop tackle" where they grab the shoulders or the chest of the Offensive player. The hip drop tackle was banned last summer and the violent tackling has evolved.
