Competition heats up as TCU plays ‘musical chairs’ to find its best offensive linemen​

One reason TCU football hasn’t reached the heights of the 2022 season is the lack of consistency from the offensive line.

There have been good players like Brandon Coleman, a third round NFL draft pick in 2024, but overall the unit has severely missed players like Steve Avila and Alan Ali.

That was one reason Gordon Sammis was brought in from UConn. His track record of producing quality offensive linemen was well documented in the Northeast and now the Horned Frogs are hoping he’ll have a similar impact in Fort Worth.
