College basketball coaches across the state of Texas are making plenty of money this season.
On Wednesday, USA Today released its list of the highest paid Division I head coaches in the country.
In the overall salary hierarchy, of the five Power Five conference coaches, not a single one from Texas ranks inside the top 10, and only two ranked inside the top 30.
The top earner from the Lone Star State is Texas coach Shaka Smart, who will make a total of $3.1 million for the 2017-2018 season.
