After impressing at NFL combine, TCU cornerback will undergo surgery before the draft

TCU cornerback Jeff Gladney will undergo surgery to repair a torn meniscus following the NFL Scouting Combine, a source told the Star-Telegram.

Gladney initially injured the meniscus during TCU’s fall camp last August, but played through it at a high level. He finished his senior season with 31 tackles and 14 pass breakups, earning first-team All-Big 12 honors.

why wouldn't you have this surgery done right after the season?

unless he got hurt in preparation for the combine, but then i would still think you would get the surgery.

I had a very modest meniscus tear that was repaired, and it hurt like a darn. Can't imagine playing full speed with that.
