not sure I want in on our uniforms but Funkytown is a pretty common name for Ft Worth - basically the modern version Cowtown, which nobody uses anymoreNot a fan. 1. Seems a little SMU-ish. 2. I think the only place I've heard of the reference of FW as "Funky Town" is on this forum. Now, if the local newspaper was renamed to Funky Town Startlegram...
I still wouldn't read it.
It is a practice jersey that has been Photoshopped. The real thing (or the renderings I have seen) is cleaaannn.Low Rent.. I'm all for some kind of localized jersey but it needs to be good design
Is the real thing like purple BYU sans the Funked up thing? Hope not.It is a practice jersey that has been Photoshopped. The real thing (or the renderings I have seen) is cleaaannn.
I use Cowtown and I do hear it referenced occasionally. To say NOBODY uses it anymore is incorrect. Just saying.not sure I want in on our uniforms but Funkytown is a pretty common name for Ft Worth - basically the modern version Cowtown, which nobody uses anymore
ok nobody under the age of 40 then....which is really the age group that says FunkytownI use Cowtown and I do hear it referenced occasionally. To say NOBODY uses it anymore is incorrect. Just saying.

The first person that I ever heard use Funkytown was Randy Galloway on his radio show. So it isn’t just the youngin’s. And Cowtown is also widely used.
