With Keefer returning to the starting lineup for the first time in a while, I guess that he was yanked from his AB mid-count yesterday because he ignored or missed a sign. Glad he didn't re-injure himself which I thought was a possibility until they posted today's lineup.

Exceptionally fortunate that Hughes and Littlejim can't turn the DP and then Littlejim throws the ball away and Wolfe scores. After watching those kids play ball for their entire high school career, I'm amazed that they are starting middle infielders at a D1 program.
Isola flies out.
And Rizer hits a rope that the 2B drops and then picks up and throws him out. Might have been close had JR run hard out of the box.

After T1 Frogs lead 1-0. Feels like it should have been a lot more.

Keefer plunked. Second time in the first two innings we have runners at 1st and 2nd with no outs.
Shepherd with the unproductive fly out.
Doesn't matter because double steal. Have not idea what Keefer was doing on that steal. Rusty.
Oviedo with a ground out RBI and its 2-1
And Wolfe grounds out.
Maybe we'll break out and score a bunch but this is two wasted opportunities.

I just started working those cover 4 / cover 5 coverages w my 11U team at Monday’s field practice. It looked just like what KState just did.
