The No. 18 TCU Horned Frogs never say die approach in games reared its head as they battled back from an 8-2 deficit with six runs in the last two innings to tie the game. The comeback was not to be, though, as No. 5 Oklahoma State's Jordy Mercer capped a career-day with his third home run of the game in the bottom of the ninth to give the Cowboys a 9-8 victory in the Stillwater Regional. Bryan Kervin drove in four runs in his final game in the Purple and White with a home run and a double. TCU finished another outstanding season with a 44-19 record.
