If BSU was addded to the MWC, the conference would only be that more credible and should be considered as part of the "Big Six"...

As far as losses within conference, BSU would probably not win the conference year in and year out, however some years they would be the favorite and others they would be contenders for the league crown. If BSU was in the MWC in 2010 I think the Frogs would be voted the favorite but I would understand if BSU was too.

Based on what? They are better than BYU and Utah, beat us last game and return more starters.

My point is all BSU does is football. They are a one trick Bronco so to speak. And I'll bet that if they were added Air Force, Utah, TCU and BYU would hand them football losses. Also why would they want to leave the WAC when their path to a BCS game is much easier? Just tired of all the butt kissing people do about BSU without looking at their athletic program as a whole. They don't even play baseball.

I'd much rather see the MWC stick where is it or add Houston or Fresno State or all three to the conference.

Bet you were also one of the guys who cried when TCU used to get no respect in CUSA.

I respect the hell out of Boise States football team, especially after they kicked our butt in the Fiesta Bowl, also dont care if they dont have a baseball team, we all know football is the only thing that matters.

Wow. Some really uneducated opinions in here. Talk about looking bush league.

The Blue Turf doesn't give anybody any actual advantage on the field, only an advantage in the head, if you're unprepared. Sure, it looks brutal on television, but I'm sure it looks pretty awesome in person. BSU built their brand, in part, on that turf, so why would they change it? It's really no different than any other type of homefield advantage that schools can get, like Iowa's pink visitors locker room.

BSU usually has a decent basketball team and I believe they have a pretty kickass Pac-10 wrestling program, so they're not really a "one trick Bronco."

It's really funny to watch people get down on BSU here, when TCU was fighting the same battle within the last 5 years. People around here were pretty pissed when TCU couldn't get respect from AQs and non-AQs, yet you're quick to turn around and do the same thing to BSU, a team that holds a 2-1 advantage over us in the last decade. Pretty sad.

how does Kellen Moore find his receivers on that turf? Jedi magic? The blue turf is a psychological advantage if anything. The turf is tacky and that's why it should go.

There's this wonderful little invention called an "offensive playbook" that allows half the players on the field during a play to know what routes the wide receivers should be running, blocking assignments, etc.

He was being sarcastic. You missed it.

Yeah, the track is definitely my top complaint about Boise's stadium, and it looks like they're getting rid of it. The blue turf is an eyesore (maybe the new surface will help - we'll see), but it makes them stand out, and it would be a mistake on their part to get rid of it. That would be like the Celtics getting rid of their parquet floor because it's a distraction. Granted, "The Blue" isn't quite in the same league as the Garden, but it's the same idea.

So you think if BSU joins the MWC the Broncos are going to run roughshod over the conference? That's not going to happen. Like I said before, maybe I didn't write it correctly, Utah, TCU, BYU and Air Force will all hand BSU losses in MWC play. Not in the same year, but those are the schools that will deny them chances at perfect runs through conference play, just like those teams have tripped up TCU. When BSU starts losing 3 or 4 games some seasons the recruiting is going to dry up and not be as great. Then you will just have another team in your conference.

Rereading his post, there wasn't a bit of sarcasm even hinted at.

Personally, I have enormous respect for BSU's team and coaches. But as long as they have a blue turf, I say the hell with em.

All 3 sentences in the post do more than hint that it was.

Do you really think he was asking how Kellen Moore knew where the receivers were? No, same as you, he knows KM knows where they are supposed to be. The jedi-stuff? Not sarcastic? Really? And the last sentence may be the biggest give-away of all.

Sure, people on here don't like me, but that doesn't have anything to do with you completely missing on his post.

Dont think I said that at all, but you are out of your mind if you dont think they would be one of the best 2 or 3 programs in our conference, the best a lot of years. Dont know what else they have to do to prove it to people.

Man you are all over the map, my only point is I respect their football program a lot and am tired of people crappin on them the same way people used to crap on us. You seriously sound no different than a UT fan when they talk about what would happen if we moved to the Big 12.

It is their stadium and field, let them put what ever color turf down they want. If we are talking about a competitive advantage, then we need to have all the schools with green uniforms, change as well.

Probably shouldn't even get into what to do about red uniforms in case there are some red/green color blind players.

Sitting around complaining about their field color comes of as jelousy. I like BSU and respect what they have done. They deserve just dues.

That said I do not want them in the MWC unless one of the other schools drops football - 9 teams is perfect.

It's not jealousy. I think it looks ugly. I do not enjoy watching football games played in that stadium specifically because the field is blue and it looks like crap. That's all. It has nothing to do with any kind of ridiculous notion like it's a competitive advantage. It just looks bad.
