My assessment was based on 247 that says he weighs 165. Figured 30 pounds was too much to ask in a year, but if Ron feels strong enough to correct me, then I’m sure he’s right.

I’m just going off what Jeremy clark said. He said we are recruiting him as a safety.
Probably won’t see the field for at least two years... he can get up to 195 or so by then

This would make sense. TCU has a history of putting former QBs at safety. Sam Carter, Arico Evans (S and LB), etc. and his film looks similar. The weight thing is hard to gauge because the listed weights can be misleading as you don't know how well fed the player is going in and how accurate the weight listed is. But TCU has shown a willingness to play smaller weighted guys lately with Turpin, White, Texada, Orr, Verrett, Issahaku,etc. and even at safety now you have:
Ar'Darius Washington is 175
Niko Small is 183
Kerry Johnson is 185
Hidari Caesar is 175
Somebody else was saying we are looking at a couple of his teammates as well. How are we looking there and who is supposed to be the best of the bunch?
