....here ya go.

He loses 10 lbs and loses 2/10ths of a second....and probably puts him back in the 1st round.

Good for him. However, I think those are hand timed 40 times and you might be comparing it with a laser 40 time at the combine.

From an article on the differences between hand and laser 40 times:
"The results showed the hand-timed 40-yard dashes were significantly faster compared to electronic-timed (4.90 ± 0.34 s vs. 5.12 ± 0.35 s, respectively). A difference of 0.22 seconds!" Source: https://www.naseinc.com/blog/hand-timed-vs-electronic-timed-40-yard-dash/

If so, we are talking about hundredths of a second difference with 4.47 - 4.22 a difference of .25 or after you subtract the average .22 difference, it is .03 seconds difference. Of course, that is still a lot faster than I ever ran.

I think most would think he is faster than a 4.47 and I hope this helps him but a 4.22 is a little rich. I have no doubt as his weight he runs a mid 4.3. He was clocked at 22 mph on that deep pass his freshman year against Stanford.
