Bought my first bike at Bob Bolen’s, saved up for it doing lawns. Brother and I would often be found at the back of the toy store racing slot cars.

Jett’s Hardware was next door

Still have many of the albums I bought at the record store and as I got older would be in the camera shop getting film and advice.

There was a 5 and Dime there for many years.

I see only three of the 42 teams ranked ahead of TCU having a lower average recruit ranking - Georgia Tech, Wake Forest and West Virginia. And give WV credit because they had to sign 48 and their average ranking is still 86.89 which isn’t much lower than TCU’s 87.29. So TCU is 40th in average recruit ranking while only signing 22.

I see Houston, Minnesota, Syracuse, Stanford, Rutgers, Vandy, Indiana and SMU with higher average recruit ranking, just to name the schools folks here are used to laughing at.

Frogs are 8th in the Big 12 in average recruit ranking, including being behind Baylor’s 87.97. TCU used to be 1st behind Texas and Oklahoma.
If rankings were that important there would be no reason to play the games. Just award the wins based on players ranking.

Personally I like getting players who want to play than players who just want to get paid. Don’t get wrong we all want money but if that is all you care about then you will quit when the going gets tough.

Spot On Froggle. I went over here to find out a little regarding the transfers(Ryan Yaites) leapfrogging players like safety Kylin Jackson, Jeremy Scott WR over Terry Shelton, Braylon James, Ezukanma.

The coaches have high level gravity problem in recognizing talent and catapulting older players over younger players with more talent and a tad less polish.

Thread needs to stop stop being a bingo card event.
